Rings, earrings, bangles, necklaces, all handmade in my Cambridge studio, are designs using 18ct, 22ct or pure gold and silver, with precious and semi precious stones.
It is important to understand that each piece of jewellery is hand made by Rosy Gounaris-Milner and therefore unique. Slight variations in colour, form and material are part of the unique character of the object. Sizes are accurate within reason.
Arranging for a ring to be fitted is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. When ordering rings, sizing is the responsibility of the client.
All of the jewellery pieces are one-off, so rings for instance will only be available in a certain size.
Ethical Studio Practices
Where and when possible I use fairtrade and/or recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stones. As the jewellery world strives to become more ethically and environmentally friendly, my small practice follows and adapts accordingly.
Each piece of jewellery is assured by the London Assay Office stating the maker, date and materials used.
Museum artefacts, cultural traditions and the natural environment offer fantastic sources of inspiration. My pieces of jewellery are individual statement pieces which constantly evolve, as do my ideas, working methods, techniques and influences.
